About Deborah

I have been in the complementary health field since 1997, working with various modalities of bodywork, movement and energy healing. I qualified as a Craniosacral therapist in 2015.

I am passionate about helping people feel more at home in their bodies at whatever stage of life, in supporting the release of physical tensions and patterns that have been absorbed through the nervous system as a response to life’s stresses and strains, helping them come into a greater felt sense of balance, stability and freedom.

Over the years I have worked in a variety of settings from community projects, to hospitals, businesses, and private practice. For 25 years I ran a service offering treatments to the staff of Great Ormond St Hospital London as part of a well-being initiative.

I am trauma-informed in my approach and continue to develop my work by attending regular workshops and training. Most recently I have completed a 1 year practitioner training in Compassionate Inquiry (a psychotherapeutic approach developed by Dr Gabor Mate) followed by 6 months of mentoring. I also enjoy supporting others in training to become CST practitioners and am part of the tutor team at the College of Craniosacral Therapy in London https://www.ccst.co.uk

I am a Registered Member of the Craniosacral Therapy Association (https://www.craniosacral.co.uk) and insured through Balens.

I live and practice in Brighton, and one day a week in London. I also work online.
